Create Fused Glass Charms

Where: Asian Season AAPI Month Kickoff Event @ Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley, 10300 Springdale Rd, Austin, TX 78754

When: Sunday, April 26th, 12-5pm (45min sessions)

Join us as we celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with Asian Season for their AAPI Kickoff Event! In our speedy, 45min "Charm Bar" workshop, you'll be able to make 1-3 small fused glass charms (no bigger than 2") that are unique and personal! Create a meaningful symbol, a flag, a character, or an emblem out of glass for your keychain, bag charm collection, or necklace! See photos for what's possible! Want to make more charms? Select back-to-back timeslots for 1.5hrs of creative time!

What's included:

• 45mins of personal and professional instruction
• Use of PPE (safety glasses and gloves)
• Clear sheet glass to practice on before making your final pieces
  
• Sheet glass in assorted colors to create charms that do not exceed 2"x2"
• Glass paint and stringer to embellish charms with small details
• Use of glass cutting and fusing tool kit to cut and assemble glass
  
• Nichrome hooks to embed into charms for attaching to key rings, necklace, etc.
• Kiln firing services post-workshop
  
• Each reservation receives FREE SHIPPING within Austin City Limits (no need to pick-up!)

Ticket is for one (1) participant. All materials included, no experience necessary!

Pieces will be shipped 2 weeks after the workshop. 

Requirements:

All participants MUST wear enclosed shoes for this workshop. 

Participants must be 13+. Participants between the ages of 13 and 18 must attend with a participating parent or guardian.

All participants must sign this Waiver before the workshop begins.
