April 8 | Fused Glass Dishes @ Strangelove

Create Your Own Pair of Checkerboard Dishes

When: Wednesday, April 8th, 4-6:30pm

Y'all asked for it, so we're doing it again! Join Studio Tak Tak for a(nother) glass fusing workshop at Strangelove where you'll make a pair (2) of 4"x4" dishes! Use these fused glass pieces as coasters, catch-alls for trinkets, candle tray, etc. So many possibilities! You'll learn how to safely cut and assemble pieces of sheet glass into a checkerboard design with a template as your guide. All while enjoying the unique beverage service (natural wines, coffee, vibes) that Strangelove has to offer! 

What's included:

• 2.5 hrs of personal and professional instruction
• Use of PPE (safety glasses and gloves)
• Clear sheet glass to practice on before making your final pieces
• Design template as your design guide (3 checkerboard variations available)
  
• Sheet glass in assorted colors to create a pair of 4"x 4" coasters
• Use of glass cutting and fusing tool kit to cut and assemble glass
  
• Kiln firing services post-workshop

Ticket is for one (1) participant. All materials included, no experience necessary!

Please note that these pieces go through 2 kiln firing processes and will be available for pick-up at Strangelove 3-4 weeks after the workshop. You will be emailed when your pieces are ready!

Requirements:

All participants MUST wear enclosed shoes for this workshop. 

Participants must be 13+. Participants between the ages of 13 and 18 must attend with a participating parent or guardian.

All participants must sign this Waiver before the workshop begins.
