November 9 | Plant Portrait @ Maybe Shop

When: Monday, November 9th, 5:30-8:30pm

Calling all plant parents! Join Studio Tak Tak for a glass fusing workshop at Maybe Shop where you'll make a 5"x6" hanging plant portrait! Use these fused glass pieces to depict your favorite plant shelf, your special exotic plant, or be inspired by something at Cosmic! So many possibilities! You'll learn how to safely cut and assemble pieces of sheet glass and add additional small glass stringers and frit to fully embellish your work. 

What's included:

• 3hrs of personal and professional instruction
• Use of PPE (safety glasses and gloves)
• Clear sheet glass to practice on before making your final pieces
• Design template as your design guide (3 variations available)
  
• Clear 5"x6" clear base for your design
• Sheet glass in assorted colors
• Frit and stringer to embellish your portrait
• Nichrome hooks for hanging final work
• Use of glass cutting and fusing tool kit to cut and assemble glass
  
• Kiln firing services post-workshop

Ticket is for one (1) participant. All materials included, no experience necessary!

Please note that these pieces will be available for pick-up at Maybe Shop 2-3 weeks after the workshop. You will be emailed when your pieces are ready!

Requirements:

All participants MUST wear enclosed shoes for this workshop. 

Participants must be 13+. Participants between the ages of 13 and 18 must attend with a participating parent or guardian.

All participants must sign this Waiver before the workshop begins.
